Mid-Carolina High School "Sleighs" into Winter Break with Festive Pep Rally
On Friday, December 12, Mid-Carolina High School celebrated our talented winter sport athletes with an energetic "Sleighing Our Way to Winter Break" Pep Rally. The event, brought the entire student body together to kick off the season with MC Pride.
Students and staff competed in a variety of holiday-themed challenges, including an intense "Snowball Fight" and a fast-paced "Box Stacking Challenge" to determine the winner of the Spirit Stick. A highlight of the afternoon was the Teacher vs. Student Athlete Basketball Skill Relay, where our athletes went head-to-head with staff members in a test of dribbling, layups, and free throws.
The gym was transformed with winter snowflakes and Christmas lights, setting the perfect stage for our Grade Level Costume Contest. From Freshmen "Elves" to Senior "Santas," the school spirit was on full display. The event concluded with a unified rendition of the Alma Mater.
We are so proud of our student-athletes and can't wait to see them compete this season!
