EOC Academy and seat time make- up is 3:30-4:30. Monday: Biology in Room 106, Tuesday: English II in Room 107, Thursday: Algebra I / Intermediate in Room 116, Friday: US History in Room 114. Get personalized tutoring to increase your scores on the EOC tests! If students are still needing content specific tutoring, they can go to the assigned EOC room for help. If you do NOT have an EOC course this semester or need help in a subject, you may attend seat makeup in the library on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday seat time is held in the cafeteria. Reminder- you must stay the whole hour for credit.

✨Faculty Spotlight: Coach Cedric Jeter✨
Newberry High School Head Coach Cedric Jeter has been selected as an assistant coach for the SOUTH team in the Touchtone Energy Bowl/ North South All Star Game. This game is played each December in Myrtle Beach, SC, and it features some of the best senior high school football players from the state of South Carolina. It is a tremendous honor for coaches in the state of South Carolina to participate in this event. Congratulations, Coach!

Check out this awesome opportunity to tour FOUR colleges in Spartanburg & Cherokee counties! Students can pick up a permission form from their School Counselor. Once students have returned their form and been cleared by academic and attendance criteria, they will be able to pay the fee to participate. Students MUST be passing classes and not in danger of excessive absences in order to attend. Space is limited to the first 45 qualified students. This is an extended day since we won't be back until 5:45 PM, so please plan for transportation accordingly.

The School Counseling department is still selling NHS car decals to help fund college tours for our students. We sold these during football season and they were a huge hit! Our first tour is March 26th and the proceeds of these car decals will go to funding the charter bus for our trip. If you are interested in a car decal, please see Mrs. Compton! They are $5 each. Decals can be paid by cash, check or card through Ms. Compton, the bookkeeper.
Save the Date! Newberry High's Junior-Senior Prom will be Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM at The Old Newberry Hotel in Downtown Newberry. Advanced ticket sales only! Tickets will go on sale starting February 20. Please pick up a Prom Form from Ms. Senn at the front desk, or from Ms. Compton, our bookkeeper. Prom Forms (completed and signed) are required to be turned in before purchasing any tickets.
